Saturday Live
Susan is one of the resident poets on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live, presented by Fi Glover.
Every six weeks or so, Susan takes part in the live programme by writing and performing two new poems, the first in response to the main news story of the week and the second in response to one of the items featured in the programme.
Check the list of forthcoming performances on Susan's Homepage for details of when next to listen.
Chelsea Flower Show
Susan was commissioned to write poetry for BBC2's coverage of the Royal Chelsea Flower Show last year. She performed her work both in one of the show gardens and on the sofa alongside Alan Titchmarsh in the evening highlights programme.
Excess Baggage
Earlier this year, Susan was a guest on Radio 4's Excess Baggage, presented by John McCarthy, talking about the joys of winter and travelling in icy landscapes. You can listen to the prorgramme, which also featured novelist Margaret Elphinstone, here.
Something Else
For the past six years, Susan has been one of the regular guests on the BBC Radio Wales talk show, Something Else. Throughout the live show, Susan and two other guests review the Sunday papers, discuss what’s happened in the week that’s past and speculate on the week to come.
