Susan is an acclaimed and inspiring creative writing tutor, with more than thirteen years’ experience of running writing courses and workshops. Her belief is that everyone has the ability to write creatively and she specialises in devising stimulating exercises that are guaranteed to persuade everyone, from the absolute beginner to the more experienced writer, to put pen to paper.

She has run writing workshops in primary and secondary schools, retirement homes, hospices, for adult literacy groups and people with learning difficulties. She has coaxed poetry from children as young as 3 and from adults as old as 96!

Together with two fellow writers and tutors, Gail Ashton and Jan Fortune-Wood, Susan recently set up TriskeleWrites to offer manuscript appraisals, mentoring services, creative writing courses and specialist packages for those who want to self-publish their work.
