In addtion to her ecopoetry publications, more than a hundred of Susan’s poems have been published in other print and online journals and anthologies in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

Her anthology publications include Furies: a Poetry Anthology of Women Warriors (For Books’ Sake); a five-poem sequence in Poems of Love and Longing (Pont Books); a four-poem sequence in Welsh and Proud of It! (Pont Books), an anthology exploring twenty-first century Welsh identity; Poems For A Liminal Age (SPM Publications); The Unseen Wind (the British Haiku Society’s haibun anthology); Not A Muse (Haven Books); and poems/prose poems/sequences in several Cinnamon Press anthologies, The Lie of the Land, Exposure, Kaleidoscope and Only Connect.

Susan has been a prizewinner in a number of poetry competitions including the Frogmore Poetry Prize (‘Who’s Afraid?’ is a funny, fresh cartoon of a poemadjudicator Clare Pollard) and has also won joint first prize in the Neil Gunn Writing Competition. She has also received a Pushcart Prize nomination.
