Susan is a dynamic reader and performer of her own poetry. She has appeared at numerous literary festivals including the Hay Festival, the Adelaide Fringe, Cheltenham Literature Festival, the Runnymede International Festival of Literature and Chester Literature Festival.

She is also frequently invited to appear as a guest poet at open mic nights up and down the country. Recent gigs include Word Up! in Cardigan, the Plough Arts Centre in Devon, Poetry Bites in Birmingham, Buzzwords in Cheltenham, Ware Poets in Ware, Poetry at the Imp in Merthyr, Bath Can Openers, Poetry in the House in Highgate and Pulsar Poetry Night in Swindon.

Susan’s…enthusiasm and dynamic reading brought us, as close as one could ever be in autumnal English Bath, right to the heart of…arctic climes…A memorable lunchtime session.
