In addition to performing at wildlife- and environmental-themed events, Susan has appeared at numerous other literary festivals including Hay Festival, Wenlock Poetry Festival, the Adelaide Fringe, Cheltenham Literature Festival, the Runnymede International Festival of Literature and Chester Literature Festival.

She is also frequently invited to appear as a guest performer at poetry nights up and down the country. Her gigs have included Petersfield Write Angle, Artful Scribe in Southampton, the Plough Arts Centre in Devon, Birmingham’s Poetry Bites, Buzzwords in Cheltenham, Ware Poets, Poetry at the Imp, Bath Can Openers, Poetry in the House in Highgate and Pulsar Poetry Night in Swindon.
